Before we picked this coat, we went through the worst-rated reviews in the category. The same five complaints came up again and again, so we turned them into our checklist.

Every answer below is a promise we can actually keep — and you get 30 days to change your mind either way.

A front panel that trips them up

The complaint

Corgi, spaniel and dachshund owners say it constantly: the front hangs so low that the dog stands on it and trips over their own coat.

What we do about it

We check the front of the coat in the photos, so you can see exactly where it ends. If your dog still gets tangled in it, send it back and we refund you.

A size chart that tells fibs

The complaint

"I measured my dog, ordered the size on the chart, and it turned up far too small." It is the single most common complaint in this whole category.

What we do about it

We size by the coat's length in centimetres, not by breed names or weight guesses. Measure the back, match it to the chart, and if it still lands wrong you can swap it or take the refund within 30 days.

Fabric thinner than the photos promised

The complaint

The listing looks thick and plush. The parcel turns up holding one thin layer that barely takes the edge off a wet dog.

What we do about it

We don't invent impressive-sounding GSM numbers. You get the honest fibre and layer description, and if it feels cheap in your hands you get your money back.

Velcro that chews up the coat

The complaint

Hook-and-loop grabs the towelling next to it, drags threads out, and a brand-new coat looks gnawed after two walks.

What we do about it

If the fastening starts pulling the towelling apart, that's a fault: refund or replacement, your choice.

Dry dog, soaking wet ears

The complaint

Spaniel and retriever owners keep pointing this out: the body comes out lovely and dry while the ears carry on dripping all over the furniture.

What we do about it

We won't pretend a coat dries ears it doesn't cover. The photos show exactly what's covered, and we tell you straight when the head still needs a towel.

Get the size right first time

One measurement. That's all we need.

Stand your dog up, run a tape measure along the spine from the collar to the base of the tail, and write down the centimetres. That's the number that matters — not their breed, not their weight, and definitely not how enormous they look when they're fluffy and dry.

What size do I need?

Measure along the spine from the collar to the base of the tail while your dog is standing, then pick the matching size in centimetres. Stuck between two sizes? Message us before you order and we'll tell you which way to go.

Does it replace the towel completely?

Not quite. If your dog is properly dripping, take the worst off with a towel first. The coat handles the long damp bit afterwards — the part where they'd normally be rolling around on your bed.

What about their head and ears?

Only what you can see in the photos is covered. If the coat has no hood or high collar, ears and head still need a towel. We'd rather tell you now than let you find out at the front door.

When will it arrive?

Free delivery anywhere in the UK, usually 7–10 days, and tracking lands in your inbox as soon as the parcel moves.

Why not next day? Because it comes straight from the people who make it instead of sitting in a warehouse here first. That's what keeps it at this price. If you need something on your doormat tomorrow morning, we're honestly not the right shop — and we'd rather say so now than have you cross at the weekend.

What if my dog hates it?

Then you get your money back. Tell us within 30 days of it arriving and we'll sort the refund out. You don't have to explain yourself or talk us out of it.

What if it turns up damaged or wrong?

Send us your order number and a couple of photos. Faulty, damaged, wrong item or not as described, we sort it: refund or replacement, whichever suits you.

Will I get stung for customs or import fees?

No. The total you see at checkout is the total you pay. Nothing extra to hand over on the doorstep, no customs charge, no courier handling fee. If anyone ever contacts you asking for extra money on an AZDINZA order, don't pay it — forward it to us instead.

Who pays to post it back?

Honestly, most of the time you won't post it back at all. A coat this light costs us more to process as a return than it's worth, so if you've changed your mind we'll normally just refund you and tell you to keep it, donate it, or hand it to a friend with a soggier dog.

If we do want it back — usually when something's faulty and we need to see what went wrong — we send a prepaid label and cover the postage. Either way you are never out of pocket. Just email us first rather than posting anything off on spec.
